Q: Which way do you take photographs? A: I'm a natural light shooter. I love its quality and the look in pictures. From time to time I use also flashes but you will be surprised how rarely. I can live without them during whole wedding include dark reception. Of course this is possible just with the best equipment - camera bodies and lenses. I use Canon, we understand each other...
I'm inspired by photojournalism, high fashion and advertisement shoots. I adapted part of each style so now I'm able to capture emotions and stories beside directing couple to the best shoots. Who don't want be 'subject of desire' at least in pictures. Brides often dream about their wedding day from childhood. Couples care about each even the smallest detail, place, menu, flowers, cards... dress is special story. Simply one million smaller and bigger things. And strong emotions. That's all together make their day really special. So please, when are you looking on my pictures try to feel emotions behind them. It's the best what you can do for me.
Q: Will we have an option to have black and white photographs? A: Yes, if you wish. As you can see the most of my pictures are in color. I feel it this way but sometimes are colors too strong. Then I change them into B&W. Of course, by artistic way not with simple changing color saturation. But those are boring technical details... All of the photos are shot in camera native RAW format; therefore each image can be turned into black and white during post-process. That same is valid for sepia and color toned photographs.
Q: Can we meet to review your work and discuss packages and options? A: For sure! The consultation is free and with no obligations. If you want to make an informed decision you need receive as much information as possible. Each photographer has his own style not just viewable in pictures. Simple contact me and ask for an appointment. Contacts options are in menu and at the bottom side of each page.
Q: Can we have photos taken before the wedding? A: Yes, an engagement session is a great opportunity for us to know each other as well to see style of my work. The price for the engagement session is included in almost all wedding packages but you can also buy the individual engagement or portrait session before your final decision (continue in reading). Its price will be deducted from the final price if we sign the contract for your wedding.
Q: How many photographs do we receive? A: I always prefer quality over quantity, yet I never limit the quantity of photos. Normally is delivered up to 800 images from 10hours wedding as the final product. From this number, the best 200 will be professionally corrected by specialized company. For prints, albums, etc. The rest is lightly processed in Photoshop by myself. I will do my best to make sure you are presented with enough photos, but not overwhelmed with too many. And also I'm sorry in advance that I use external companies. Simply I don't have enough amount of time for all works. Despite of I'm really good in Photoshop, I love be a photographer...
Q: Will we get the digital files? A: Yes, the basic product is a DVD/DVDs with all taken images. On the DVD are two sets of photographs. The first one contains high resolution .JPG files optimized for printing. The second set are pictures in internet resolution for emails, facebook albums, etc. Of course, I archive everything on my discs for minimum 10 years.
Q: Can we print our own photos or make our own albums?
A: Yes, you may print or design and create your own albums. You can order these services from the third party too. Or you can change your mind and ask for these services later...
Important note: You will receive pictures with private purpose rights. That means that you can't sell them to third persons (magazines, ad-agencies, etc.) without my written consent and payment of copyright fees.
Q: How soon will we can receive products? DVD, prints and albums... A: The DVD is usually ready between 2 and 4 weeks after the wedding. Usually, the slowest process is selection the best ones on client side. For prints it's usually that same. For albums you need calculate around 4 weeks. Two for design process and two for printing and delivery. Now, I offer justhandmade Queensberry albums which are the best in the world in my opinion. The final quality is stunning so both sides (me and clients) are more than satisfied. I care a lot about the way in which is my work presented. I used to use several different suppliers but no one was as good as they are. Simply the best is the best. But as I mentioned before you can use pictures and create your own albums. Note: For album design I also use an external designer. Simply he/she are better trained and can easier follow trends. There are no excuses later for the album value.
Q: Do you offer packages for destination weddings? A: YES, I love traveling and new places are always full of inspiration for me. That's why I offer a special all-in package for destination weddings. So If you are looking for this kind of services you can stop and contact me now.
Q: Contract? What's next? A: I recommend to sign contract as soon as possible. I had to tell sorry several times just because other couples were faster. Booking the date is finished by putting down 40% of final price and receiving signed contract. This deposit is non-refundable and covers my expenses. The next 30% is required at least one month before the wedding, let's say as confirmation. This part is refundable if the event is canceled or postponed and I'm already booked for the new date. The last payment I'll ask after product delivery. Of course, you can pay everything together with booking fees. This is just up to you...
After booking I offer 100% guaranty that you'll have photographer on your wedding. If I won't be death (or almost) I will be there as the main photographer. In described horror case there will my backup - second photographer.Q: And prices? A: You have to ask me directly. Describe shortly your needs (date, time, kind of event, added products... or level of copyrights) and I will answer you as soon as possible. Simply there is too much different possibilities. And at the end it's very complicated compare quality level especially for art and memories. I believe all my clients were and are satisfied with prices...
